Born and raised on a farm in southern Indiana, Robert (Bob) Taylor, has been an animal and nature lover all his life. This love for animals has been a major influence for his particular realistic style of detailed painting.

Although painting has been a hobby for most of his life, it was through the encouragement of friends and associates, that he started designing custom trophies for horse shows. That experience also developed into many other wonderful opportunities, including the idea to purse Kanebrak Designs as a vocation.
